Schedule:
The nanny will work on a rotational schedule of 7 days on / 7 days off, Monday - Sunday.
During the “on” week, the nanny will provide full-time, live-in coverage, including daytime support, evening routines, and overnight presence as needed. This is a structured, high-support role during the active rotation.
During the “off” week, the nanny is fully relieved of all duties and not required to be on call.
This role includes live-in overnight coverage during on-duty rotation weeks; however, it is understood that sleep periods are considered non-active working hours, provided that the nanny remains on-site and reasonably available in the event of child-related needs or household requirements.
The overnight component is built into the rotational structure, and the nanny will be provided with a private sleeping accommodation to ensure adequate rest during non-active hours.
An overnight stipend is included as part of the compensation structure to reflect the requirement to remain in residence during on-duty weeks.
Compensation: $1,512 – $1,792 per week (DOE)

About the Family & Position:
A private Dallas family is seeking two highly professional, trauma-informed nanny to support a structured and sensitive custody reunification process. This role requires a calm, steady presence with strong emotional awareness, discretion, and the ability to operate within a clearly defined, documentation-focused environment.
The ideal candidate will bring maturity, sound judgment, and experience working in complex family dynamics while maintaining neutrality and consistency for the children. The role also requires comfort entering into a comprehensive Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to any interview process or family introduction.
The nanny will provide consistent, structured support within the household, with a strong focus on stability, routine, and guiding the children through a defined transition period.
- Oversee the daily care and supervision of two school-aged children (ages 10 and 12), ensuring a safe, supportive, and well-structured environment
- Support the children through a household transition period, helping establish trust, consistency, and emotional stability over time
- Implement and maintain clear daily routines, including wake-up, meals, activities, and bedtime structure
- Provide age-appropriate guidance and engagement, encouraging independence while reinforcing positive behavior and boundaries
- Assist with routine-building and behavioral consistency, helping the children re-adjust to household expectations in a calm and supportive manner
- Manage school-related responsibilities as applicable, including academic support, organization, and coordination of schedules
- Handle transportation needs, including driving to activities, appointments, or outings
- Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children during working hours
- Maintain organization of children’s spaces, including bedrooms, play areas, and belongings
- Assist with children’s laundry and related household tasks tied directly to their care
- Maintain a calm, neutral, and structured presence within the home throughout the transition period
- Provide consistent communication and updates to the parent regarding routines, activities, and any notable observations
- Complete daily logs or summaries to ensure continuity and alignment between rotational caregivers
- Collaborate closely with the alternate ROTA nanny, ensuring smooth transitions, consistent expectations, and aligned care approaches
- Adapt to the evolving needs of the household as routines become more established over time
- Uphold professional discretion, boundaries, and confidentiality within the home environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-10 years of professional childcare experience, with demonstrated experience caring for school-age children
- Prior live-in or extended-stay experience as you must be comfortable residing in a private household for 7 consecutive days
- Trauma-informed approach to childcare, with the ability to remain calm, neutral, and consistent in sensitive family situations
- Strong emotional intelligence and professional discretion as this role operates within a structured, documentation-focused environment
- Comfortable maintaining daily written logs and objective observations
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- CPR and First Aid certified (current)
- Minimum 3 verifiable professional references
- Must pass a comprehensive background check
- Must be comfortable signing a comprehensive Non-Disclosure Agreement prior to interview or family introduction
