R.R.T./C.R.T. at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital – Clinton, Missouri

Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Pulmonary Services, the Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by a physician. Duties include medical gas administration, aerosol therapy, obtaining and analyzing blood specimens, performing patient testing, operating and maintaining various types of respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment, providing mechanical ventilation, maintaining artificial airways, assisting with cardiopulmonary resuscitation, providing patient education, monitoring equipment and patient response to therapy. Additional responsibilities include completing documentation of inpatient and departmental records, cleaning equipment, and maintaining safety and infection control practices.

Required:
Current RRT or CRT license through the State of Missouri Division of Professional Registration
Certification issued by NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care)
Current BLS
NRP within six months of hire date
ACLS and PALS optional
One year of recent clinical experience desired
Must be a customer service champion and team-oriented
