As PROCEPT continues its rapid expansion, the Clinical team is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Specialist to support the growing volume and complexity of procedures across the region. The Senior Clinical Specialist will lead advanced case coverage, deliver sophisticated product and clinical training programs, and provide high-level procedural guidance for surgeons, staff, and new users. This role will also oversee select field service activities, including software installations and updates, to ensure procedural readiness and system performance.
At the core of this role, we are looking for a seasoned clinical expert with extensive experience supporting complex surgical procedures and robotically assisted workflows. You will be expected to lead in-procedure troubleshooting, manage OR dynamics with precision, and guide surgeon progression through all onboarding and competency milestones. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to anticipate procedural needs, and the confidence to orchestrate multiple clinical and operational stakeholders simultaneously.
We are also looking for a strong communicator and strategic partner who will regularly share insights with Sales, Marketing, Capital, R&D, Distributor Launch teams and Distributor Utilization/ Clinical Teams. You will play a key role in informing business reviews, supporting new account onboarding, and identifying opportunities for procedural efficiency, utilization growth, and overall program improvement through thoughtful analysis of case logs, trends, and field observations.
The Senior Clinical Specialist will mentor and elevate Clinical Specialists, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality clinical support and alignment with best practices across the team. The ideal candidate will exercise independent judgment in planning and executing their work, bring deep clinical acumen to every interaction, and demonstrate the leadership needed to support PROCEPT’s continued growth and success nationwide. Frequent travel is required to meet the needs of assigned accounts and regional growth priorities.
- Lead complex case coverage and advanced procedural troubleshooting
- Oversee field service operations and ensure regulatory compliance within direct and distributor teams internationally.
- Develop and deliver advanced product and clinical training programs
- Mentor Clinical Specialists to elevate clinical quality, consistency, and capability
- Serve as a liaison with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to share customer insights and clinical data
- Partner with Sales, Capital, and direct/distributor Launch teams to ensure seamless handoff and successful onboarding of new accounts
- Provide support for software installations and updates to ensure procedural readiness
- Review and analyze case log files to identify trends, training needs, and opportunities for improvement.
- Upload cases log files as required to central repository for all cases supported
- Analyze utilization and operational data to identify efficiency and growth opportunities (e.g., procedural stacking, scheduling optimization)
- Partner with Senior Account Managers to inform business reviews and strategic growth planning
- Oversee surgeon progression through the surgeon pathway, ensuring completion of all onboarding and competency milestones across assigned accounts.
- Ability to travel 75% or greater as necessary
- Regional Quota Attainment: Direct contribution to revenue through utilization growth. Achieve Main Business Objectives as set by the Line Manager.

- Case Leadership: Consistent success leading complex cases and supporting new site launches
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of clinical experience in surgery, medical device, or robotics required
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and drive adoption through procedural excellence
- Proven ability to quantify and communicate impact (e.g., utilization growth, procedure efficiency improvements)
- Proven success in mentoring peers and leading clinical programs
- Deep clinical acumen and understanding of surgical workflows
- Advanced device knowledge, sound clinical judgment, and strong troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder influence across surgeons and internal teams
- Proven ability to align clinical and commercial goals to drive adoption and growth
