Middle School Math Teacher at Prizmah – Brookline, Massachusetts

Maimonides School, a Modern Orthodox Jewish day school in Brookline, MA, is hiring a middle school math teacher for the school year beginning in September, 2026. What you will do

• Teach 2 or 3 math classes per week to students in grades 6-8, depending on our needs and your schedule
• Create and deliver highly engaging lessons to a wide range of learners
• Track student progress and communicate with students and families regarding performance and progress

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree
• Minimum 1-3 years previous experience teaching middle or high school math
• Enthusiasm for working with middle school students
• Committed to working as part of a collaborative team that prepares students with both skills and content knowledge as they develop as learners

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Salary is $25,000-$35,000/year, commensurate with years of experience and highest degree
• Paid time off for state, federal, and Jewish holidays
• Early release Fridays
