Position OverviewThe Detailer is responsible for cleaning, polishing, and restoring both the interior and exterior of vehicles according to company standards and client requests. This role uses a variety of cleaning tools and products — including buffers, vacuums, hoses, and steamers — to ensure every vehicle meets the highest appearance and quality expectations.

- Wash and clean all vehicles in compliance with company standards and customer requests.
- Ensure all windows and sunroofs are closed and automatic wipers are disabled before washing vehicles.
- Verify that vehicles are suitable for machine washing prior to sending them through the wash.
- Double-check every vehicle after cleaning to ensure quality and move or park vehicles in the designated area.
- Notify Management if additional supplies, materials, or tools are needed.
- Handle cleaning products, towels, and equipment properly and safely.
- Follow all Management directions and safety procedures at all times.
- Perform clay, polish, and wax services using appropriate tools and products, including buffers, compounds, and sealants.
- Maintain awareness of different surfaces and finishes to avoid damage and ensure proper care.
- Valid, unrestricted California driver’s license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company insurance requirements.
- Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Ability to safely maneuver vehicles in tight or confined spaces.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to perform repetitive motions associated with vehicle movement and lot duties
