Comfort Station Cook at WindRiver Lakefront & Golf Community – Lenoir City, Tennessee

As the Comfort Station Cook, your responsibilities will be to provide excellent guest service while ensuring the comfort stations are clean, stocked, and well-maintained, including assisting with amenities, preparing and serving food, supporting facility operations, and upholding safety and hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests using the comfort stations.
• Assist guests courteously with any questions, requests, or concerns regarding comfort station amenities.
• Prepare food items or snacks as requested, following safe food-handling procedures.
• Maintain professional appearance, behavior, posture, and hygiene while on duty.

Facility Upkeep & Cleanliness

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of comfort station areas throughout the day.
• Restock supplies such as beverages, condiments, and other amenities as needed.
• Ensure outdoor areas around comfort stations remain neat, clean, and free of debris.
• Perform regular cleaning to uphold health and safety standards.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning checklists to maintain standards of operation.
• Ensure all utilities and equipment (lights, fans, TVs, grills, etc.) are turned off at the end of the day.

Operations & Support

• Monitor the condition of the facility, promptly reporting or addressing maintenance issues.
• Support set-up and upkeep of comfort station amenities including refreshments and small equipment.
• Attend required staff meetings, including those related to safety and operations.
• Maintain inventory levels and communicate when restocking is needed.
• Assist with additional duties on property as assigned by the supervisor.

• 2 years' experience in full-service restaurant (preferred).
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old (required).
• Current TN ABC license or ability to renew or obtain license (required).
• High School Diploma (preferred).
• Must be able to work a varying schedule of nights, weekends, mornings, and holidays.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to manage time well.
• Must be willing to work weekend, holiday, and evening shifts.
• Understanding of restaurant etiquette.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Excellent track record of communication skills working as a team player.
• Strong organizational skills with the multiple dining tables and bar seating.
• Ability to improvise and make decisions based on business or guest needs.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, stoop, climb stairs, twist, kneel, lift, push, and pull items weighing 55lbs. Must be able to stand and continuously move throughout the workday. Must be willing to work outdoors and be comfortable in varying weather.
