Remote Litigation Counsel, Senior
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Litigation Counsel - REMOTE. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to navigating the complexities of legal issues at the intersection of technology and law. You will manage litigation concerning intellectual property, ensuring that the strategies you develop drive positive outcomes for our partner. This opportunity allows you to work in a fast-paced environment focused on innovation in aerial mobility while collaborating with experienced engineers and executives. Your legal expertise will play a critical role in supporting the company's mission and objectives.
Accountabilities- Lead IP Disputes: Provide strategic counsel and drive business-positive outcomes for adversarial matters, including patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret litigation and pre-litigation disputes.
- Direct Outside Counsel: Manage all phases of the litigation lifecycle, including pre-suit investigations, discovery, motion practice, and trial.
- Support Broader Business: Partner with the legal team and management to advise on complex agreements and commercial disputes.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with technical and leadership teams to provide support for various legal matters.
- Strategic Decision Making: Exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations and take ownership of complex workstreams.
- A J.D. degree from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of experience specifically in IP litigation.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills to communicate complex legal concepts.
- Demonstrated case management skills to devise solutions for unusual circumstances.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- US Person Requirement: This role may require the candidate to be a 'U.S. Person' for compliance.
