Role Summary:

We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join Filevine’s Brand team and help shape how the world sees us. In this role, you will support the visual expression of our brand across multiple channels—from social media and marketing campaigns to internal events and digital assets. This is an incredible opportunity for a graphic designer to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced Legal AI environment, working directly with seasoned creatives to bring the Filevine brand to life.

You’ll be a key contributor to a team that values bold ideas and precision. If you are a systems-thinker who is eager to learn, execute with high quality, and see your work live in the real world, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
Brand Support & Asset Creation
  • Assist in the production of visual assets that align with Filevine’s brand identity, ensuring consistency in typography, color, and layout.

  • Help maintain and organize our brand design system, including iconography libraries and photography databases.

  • Support the team in enforcing brand guidelines across various internal departments.

Campaign & Social Design
  • Execute visual assets for marketing campaigns across social media, email, and digital display ads.

  • Design internal materials, presentation decks, and "swag" for company events and brand awareness initiatives.

  • Learn to translate complex legal-tech concepts into engaging, digestible visual narratives.

Digital & Exploration
  • Support the design of landing page graphics and web banners.

  • Explore motion graphics and basic animation to help bring our social content to life.

  • Collaborate with the web and product teams to ensure a seamless visual experience for our users.

Team Collaboration
  • Participate in creative brainstorms and contribute fresh ideas to the conceptual development process.

  • Work closely with copywriters and content strategists to see projects through from initial brief to final delivery.

  • Receive direct mentorship and feedback from our Creative Director to help sharpen your craft.

Qualifications:
Required
  • Current student or recent graduate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.

  • A strong portfolio (PDF or website) demonstrating a solid grasp of typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, and layout.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) and Figma.

  • An obsession with detail and a "no task is too small" attitude.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to explain the "why" behind your design choices.

Preferred
  • Experience or interest in motion design (After Effects).

  • Familiarity with basic web design principles.

  • An interest in B2B technology and how design impacts the "future of law."

  • Curiosity about AI-powered design tools and how they can be used to streamline creative workflows.
