Oncology Infusion Center APP

Job Summary:

RWJBH is seeking a full-time days Advanced Practice Provider in the Inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant department at the New Brunswick campus,

Essential Functions:

• The focus of this role is outpatient management of the oncology patient in Bone Marrow Transplant
• Medial knowledge includes oncology diagnosis and management through assessment and diagnosis
• Patient care includes collaboration with physician team and multidisciplinary oncology team
• Independent assessment and symptom management are essential skills
• Candidate should possess effective time management and patient assessment skills
• Must be able to adapt and adjust to a large volume acute patient population
• Must be able to assess and present critical patient concerns in a clear and concise manner

Education:

• Graduate from NP program with certification in adult acute care
• Physician Assistants need to have graduated from accredited PA program

Experience:

• 0-3 years of oncology experience
• Willing to consider new graduates with a desire for oncology patient management

Licenses and Certifications:

• Current NJ APN/PA license required
• NCCPA certification required
• CDS required
• DEA required
• RN required
• BLS required
• AOCNP preferred
