We’re seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Recruiting Operations Director to lead and scale our recruiting function in support of fast-paced, nationwide Data Center construction projects. This role is central to aligning recruiting efforts with business needs, optimizing process efficiency, managing high-performing teams, and driving exceptional candidate and client experiences.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, and support a team of recruiters, sourcers, and recruiting coordinators.
  • Manage individual performance, set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support career growth and development.
  • Host recurring operational syncs to align on goals, process updates, and hiring progress.
  • Create and maintain a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Client & Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Partner closely with Sales Directors and Account Managers to understand hiring priorities, timelines, job profiles, and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with Field Directors to ensure seamless communication regarding incoming openings and interview coordination.
  • Host or facilitate client-facing interviews and meetings as needed to support hiring delivery.
  • Maintain strategic partnerships with external recruiting agencies and manage invoice compliance for agency-sourced hires.

Operational & Systems Excellence
  • Ensure ATS and Sales CRM data integrity through ongoing training, process standardization, and audits.
  • Train new and existing team members on ATS workflows and data best practices.
  • Oversee all offer letter generation and approval processes to ensure alignment with HR guidelines, sales contracts, and finance policies.
  • Identify and implement solutions to reduce candidate time-in-process and improve requisition time-to-fill.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in HR-related processes affecting recruitment (e.g., onboarding flow, job codes, compensation guidelines).
  • Lead process optimization efforts that increase speed, compliance, and hiring quality across teams.

Candidate Experience & Brand Presence
  • Ensure a high-quality, consistent candidate experience across all client interviews and recruiting touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to drive branding initiatives, expand candidate pipelines, and elevate Overwatch's visibility in the market.
  • Represent Overwatch at networking events, conferences, and on social platforms to support hiring brand awareness.

Metrics & Strategic Reporting
  • Monitor and report weekly on key hiring metrics to senior leadership, including candidate flow, recruiter performance, time-to-fill, and outreach volumes.
  • Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies, identify bottlenecks, and deliver high-impact recruiting outcomes.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven success managing recruiting teams within construction, engineering, or mission-critical industries.
  • Strong working knowledge of ATS and CRM systems, reporting tools, and recruiting KPIs.
  • Experience managing offer letters in compliance with HR, Finance, and Sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with client-facing poise.
  • Track record of improving recruiting workflows, systems, and team performance.
  • Ability to lead operational meetings, develop training programs, and scale best practices.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client or industry engagements.
