What You Will Be Doing
Working full-time as a Wraparound Facilitator/Social Worker, you will be responsible for creating and facilitating a support team that is strength-based, needs-driven, and focused on helping youth and their families reach their desired goals. Wraparound is a unique program that is family-driven, and your job is to help the family by being a compassionate, diversity-minded, creative professional who coordinates the family’s needs and services. You will think outside the box, using clinical techniques and crisis management skills to provide culturally responsive assistance to families. As a Wraparound Facilitator, you will work closely with multiple public service systems, including the Circuit Court Family Division, the Department of Health and Human Services, community members and programs, and the public school system to deliver services within a family-centered model.
What We Require
- We have positions available for either a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or related human services field
- One year of experience working with youth and families strongly preferred
- A State of Michigan professional license: LMSW/LLMSW, LBSW/LLBSW, LPC, LLP/TLLP
- A valid Michigan Driver’s license as travel throughout Kalamazoo County is required
- Salary for this position will be commensurate with education and experience

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
Physical Efforts – Job demands include prolonged sitting and standing as appropriate. May occasionally require light lifting up to 25 pounds, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or bending as appropriate. Requires coordination of hands and/or eye/hand/foot.
Working Conditions – Office environment with noise from computers, copy machine, and telephones. Use of computer for periods in excess of 30 minutes at a time. Possible eyestrain from extended periods of viewing computer screen. May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and parasites. Travel throughout the Kalamazoo area is required.
