As a Sr. Specialist, HRBP in our Human Resources function supporting the Spine Division, you’ll serve as a key HR partner to managers and employees—supporting the implementation of HR policies, resolving employee relations issues, driving operational excellence, and contributing to talent and organizational initiatives that help build a high-performing, engaged workforce in our dynamic medical device environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the implementation of corporate HR policies, programs, and initiatives across employee relations, organizational development, talent management, and workforce planning
- Partner with managers and employees to help identify root causes of HR issues and assist in resolving employee relations matters in a fair and consistent manner
- Coordinate day-to-day HR activities and collaborate with HR Specialists, Representatives, and interns/co-op students to ensure smooth execution of HR processes
- Contribute to HR operational improvement efforts, including enhancements to tools, systems, and administrative processes
- Provide HR analytics support by gathering data, identifying basic trends, and helping prepare clear summaries and insights for HR and business partners
- Support organizational change initiatives in partnership with the broader HRBP team
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and deliver effective employee communications
- Participate in company-wide programs such as salary reviews, workforce planning, and talent management/succession planning
- Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to support organizational and cultural initiatives
- Help ensure effective day-to-day HR operations and administrative efficiency across assigned areas
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 2+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with previous business-facing HR, HR Operations, or HR COE experience preferred
- Self-directed with strong initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend practical solutions
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective relationships across functions and levels
- Good understanding of HR policies, employment laws, talent processes, and organizational development principles
- Experience supporting HR data analysis, trend identification, and continuous improvement projects
- Detail-oriented with strong judgment, communication skills (verbal and written), and the ability to handle sensitive matters professionally
- Proactive, personally driven, and committed to delivering high-quality HR support in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:
Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and performance with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and local market conditions in Burlington, Ontario.
