You will collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to build a strong and healthy pipeline while contributing valuable market insights. You will be responsible for generating qualified opportunities, engaging scientific stakeholders, and supporting the early stages of the sales pipeline while contributing to market intelligence and product understanding.
- Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound outreach, including email campaigns, calls, LinkedIn engagement, and event follow-ups
- Research and identify key decision-makers across biotech, biopharma, CROs, academic labs, and materials science organizations
- Qualify inbound leads from marketing programs, webinars, and digital campaigns, ensuring smooth handoff to sales teams
- Engage in credible scientific conversations with researchers, leveraging domain knowledge to understand lab workflows and data challenges
- Articulate the value of scientific software solutions related to ELN, LIMS, bioinformatics, and data visualization platforms
- Maintain accurate CRM records, track interactions, and support pipeline reporting using Salesforce or similar tools
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Marketing to refine messaging, improve campaign effectiveness, and share market insights
- Participate in ongoing learning of scientific trends, competitive positioning, and product portfolio capabilities
The ideal candidate combines a strong scientific foundation with early commercial experience or interest in transitioning into a sales-driven role within life sciences technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related scientific field
- 1–3 years of experience in laboratory, research, biotech, biopharma, or academic environments
- Exposure to or interest in SaaS, scientific software, or laboratory informatics solutions is highly valued
- Strong understanding of scientific research workflows and data management challenges in lab environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical scientists and senior business stakeholders
- Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working in a high-volume outbound prospecting environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce is a plus
- Curiosity-driven mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow in a commercial role
- Competitive base salary range: 52,449 to 61,704 USD annually, with uncapped commission potential
