Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting/Finance (required)
• Healthcare experience preferred

Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to leadership and governing body

Monitor cash flow and maintain financial stability

Budgeting & Forecasting

Develop annual operating and capital budgets in collaboration with department leaders

Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis

Assist leadership with financial forecasting and strategic planning

Regulatory & Compliance Oversight

Ensure compliance with:

CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services)

Joint Commission standards

State regulations (e.g., DMH, DHR)

Maintain documentation for audits, surveys, and financial reviews

Support cost reporting and reimbursement processes

Internal Controls & Risk Management

Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets

Oversee audits (internal and external)

Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies

Ensure proper segregation of duties

Revenue Cycle Oversight

Collaborate with billing and admissions to optimize reimbursement

Monitor collections, denials, and payer trends

Ensure accurate charge capture and coding coordination (with clinical teams)

Payroll & HR Financial Coordination

Oversee payroll processes and ensure accuracy

Collaborate with HR on compensation structures, benefits, and staffing costs

Monitor overtime, agency usage, and labor expenses

Leadership & Collaboration

Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership
