About This Position

Position Description:

Provides leadership at the restaurant level. Directs and supports the management team and hourly team members to consistently execute Alexandria Restaurant Partners (ARP) quality standards, operating systems, procedures, principles, values, mission, core values, and culture. Sets the example for the restaurant. Supervises all restaurant-level managers, chefs, and hourly team members.

Our locations include Adas on the River, Barca Pier & Wine Bar, Caf Tu Tu Tango, Mias Italian Kitchen, Palette 22, Theismanns, The Royal, and Volas Dockside Grill & Hi-Tide Lounge.

Position Responsibilities: People & Leadership
  • Develop an hourly talent pipeline by following career development plans that foster growth and internal mobility.
  • Support people processes like manager meetings, one-on-ones, and progressive discipline.
  • Foster a culture of celebration and appreciation.
  • Hire and identify talent and interview potential candidates.
Operations
  • Execute ARPs operations vision and core principles.
  • Consistently enforce operational standards and processes.
  • Manager day-to-day fires such as facility, people, and equipment.
  • Ensure food and beverage quality and consistency.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Qualifications -

Include, but are not limited to:

  • Must have 3 to 5 years of restaurant management experience in full-service, high-volume restaurants.
  • Must have a the answer is yes, whats the question mentality.
  • Communicates effectively and consistently.
  • Dependable, reliable, and highly motivated.
    • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
      • Expert-level follow-through skills.
        • Computer proficiency with a strong knowledge of Microsoft platforms, OpenTable, HotSchedules, and Restaurant365.
          • Demonstrates ability to be proactive versus reactive.
            • Adaptable, able to change priorities and manage workloads with minimal direction.
              • High-level organizational skills with multi-task capabilities
