Position Overview

We are seeking a Discovery Clerk to support our Employment Litigation team. This role plays a key part in managing the discovery process, supporting attorneys, and ensuring cases move forward efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with discovery experience, as well as those with broader litigation or legal support backgrounds looking to grow in employment law.

• Assist with propounding and responding to discovery in compliance with the California Code of Civil Procedure
• Draft discovery responses, correspondence, and litigation-related documents under attorney supervision
• Track discovery deadlines and ensure timely responses
• Assist with trial preparation, including organizing trial and exhibit binders
• Communicate with clients to gather information and assist with discovery responses
• Coordinate with opposing counsel regarding discovery matters and deadlines
• Maintain organized case files and documentation in Filevine or similar systems

• 1-3 years of experience in discovery, litigation support, or a legal administrative role preferred
• Experience in employment law preferred; candidates with personal injury, workers’ compensation, or other litigation backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Prior experience assisting with discovery (drafting, organizing, or responding) strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of the California Code of Civil Procedure related to discovery preferred
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Filevine or similar case management systems is a plus
• This position is fully on-site; remote or hybrid work is not available

Hourly Range: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
