This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing, collaborative finance team while supporting key accounting functions across multiple entities. You will handle cost accounting, inventory analysis, fixed assets, and journal entries, playing a crucial role in the month-end close process and other financial reporting activities. Accountabilities
  • Support daily inventory cost rolls and production job closing functions.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations as assigned.
  • Analyze plant performance, investigate variances, and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to annual financial statement audits and assist with documentation for internal and external reviews.
  • Collaborate on special projects as assigned, supporting the Director of Cost Accounting, Corporate Controller, and North American entities.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Required qualifications include:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for conferences or company site visits.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 12 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Experience with cost accounting or inventory analysis in a manufacturing environment.
