We are currently seeking a phenomenal leader to become our Human Resources Generalist that supports the Human Resources Department in varies functional areas, including recruitment, onboarding, orientations, employee relations, benefits administration, employee recognition, human resources audits, training and filing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Benefits administration: eligibility tracking, distributing forms, enrollment processing, billing reconciliation, dependent changes, cancellations, (Kaiser, CareFirst, Assurant, Hotel Association, 401K, FSA) – initiation of PAF for UltiPro updates.
- Administration of doctor's notes - coordination with managers and filing.
- Coordination of FMLA, Personal Leave of Absence approval and extension process, FMLA balance tracking, processing short-term disability claims – initiating PAF to stop accruals of vacation/sick, tracking of employee payment.
- Administration of Birthday/Anniversary calendars for Human Resources office.
- Administration/Tracking of employment eligibility (I-9) by sending notifications about expiring documents.
- Administration of EOM/MOQ program by sending MEMOs, e-mail notifications, invitations, ordering winner's gift card, ordering plaque and brass star paperweight from G-Niel, and preparing summary of nominations for the ceremony.
- Filing and assistance with HR audits (personal and medical files review, I-9 compliance.)
- Receiving and processing employee requests on a timely manner (e.g. employment verifications, payroll questions, benefit inquires).
- Managing Lever Applicant Tracking System for recruitment, hiring and archiving candidates.
- Producing Time and a Third Report on weekly basis.
- Sending schedules to Local 25 on a weekly basis.
- Updating the Department Head Power Point Slide Shows on a weekly basis
- Posting new open positions on the HR Bulleting Board.
- Managing/updating HR Bulletin Board on a weekly basis.
- Ordering supplies, business cards, pins, ID cards.
- Creating ID cards for the new employees.
- Managing Locker Room Tracking for Employees.
- Managing Employee Parking Information.
- Employee File Maintenance.
- Tracking and Maintaining Employee Training Requirements.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
- Strong preference for experience in a hospitality or service industry.
- No Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Education and Work Experience:
- High school Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 1+ years of HR luxury hospitality experience.
- Union experience required**
- Language Skills: Bi-lingual fluency a plus.
- Mathematical Skills: Must have basic mathematical skills such as the ability to add/subtract and multiply.
- Technical and Administrative Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficiency with HRIS experience with UKG/Ultipro and Lever Applicant Tracking System preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment.
- Reasoning Ability: Must have excellent oral/written communication skills. Ability to handle employee and management requests in a calm and professional manner. In addition to being exceptionally organized, with the ability to balance multiple tasks. Must have strong organizational & communication skills, and a professional presence.
- Physical Ability: Ability to sit and use a computer for long periods of time. Able to lift 10-20 lbs.
