Warehouse Clerk Perishable in Mount Sterling, Illinois at Dot Foods

As a Perishable Warehouse Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting the perishable outbound team by verifying that all loads are picked and shipped on time, while assisting with other operational tasks as needed throughout the shift.

Reports To: Warehouse Clerk Supervisor

WageRange: $20.00 - $23.00

WHAT YOULL DO

• • Coordinates dock flow for all outbound loads
Tracks and verifies paperwork and product on trailers
Investigates shortages of product in the picking process
Compares accuracy of supplier bills
Chooses and stages loads to be received
Prints, distributes, and finalizes shipping and receiving paperwork as needed
Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of theposition

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma, General Equivalency Degree, or relevant work experience
  
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience in fast-paced environment

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• Experience with warehouse computer systems
• Ability to accept changing work demands

ROLE SPECIFICS

• Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:30 PM- 5:00AM
• Team-based environment
