Emergency Department Technician at Cookeville Regional Medical Center – Cookeville, Tennessee

The Emergency Department Technician is responsible for performing basic and advanced Nursing Assistant skills under the direct supervision of an RN/LPN according to established policies, procedures, and guidelines within the department and the Medical Center. Other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. CNA, EMT, EMT-P, Certified Phlebotomist, MA, Nurse Extern preferred. Able to read and write English. Clinical skills to perform basic nursing care. BLS current or within first 90 days of employment.

Experience: Prior experience in a hospital setting, preferably emergency services.
