As a Technical Recruiter specializing in Energy and Environmental roles, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle—from defining candidate evaluation criteria to conducting interviews and verifying credentials. You will partner closely with hiring managers and technical teams to understand specialized skill requirements and deliver exceptional talent for projects in clean energy, environmental compliance, and advanced energy technologies.
You will also proactively build pipelines of energy and environmental professionals through networking, industry events, and targeted sourcing strategies. Additionally, you will recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for Energy and Environmental technical roles, ensuring only highly qualified professionals are presented to hiring managers.
- Utilize advanced sourcing techniques to identify passive talent through LinkedIn, industry-specific platforms, and environmental/energy job boards.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process using the Talent Acquisition System, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Develop strong partnerships with technical hiring managers and stakeholders to understand evolving skill needs in energy and sustainability.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of candidates for renewable energy, environmental engineering, and related technical positions.
- Submit at least 3 qualified candidates per requisition weekly.
- Provide recruitment metrics and insights to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
- Participate in energy and environmental conferences, webinars, and professional networks to expand talent pools.
- Assist with other Talent Acquisition or HR projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience recruiting technical professionals, preferably in Energy and Environmental sectors.
- Familiarity with certifications and technical skills relevant to energy and environmental roles (e.g., LEED, PE, renewable energy systems, environmental compliance).
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.
- Proven ability to source passive candidates using advanced tools and platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build trust and maintain effective relationships with technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
