Material Handler - 1st shift in Hatfield, Pennsylvania at Fox Group

Title: Material Handler

Reports to: Folding/Gluing Supervisor

Scope of Position:

The Material Handler is responsible for supplying materials, moving work-in-processes, and supporting the assigned department to ensure efficient production flow. This role is focused on internal material movement within the plant which includes packing items for shipping and storage or use on the production line.

Responsibilities:

• Move pallets and materials to and from productions areas as directed
• Staging materials to support continuous production flow
• Remove finished goods and transport to designated staging areas
• Wrapping skids securely for storage and transport
• Seal, stack and organize boxes weighing up to 50 lbs
• Label boxes and materials accurately according to production requirements
• Maintain clean and organized work areas around production line
• Assist operators and production staff as needed to support workflow efficiency
• Train to safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
• Perform other tasks/duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required

• Ability to lift, carry and stack up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and perform repetitive task throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work extended hours to support production deadlines

Preferred

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience operating pallet jacks or similar equipment
