Band and Orchestra Sales Specialist at Heid Music – Green Bay, Wisconsin

Heid Music is a music retailer dedicated to fostering happy, developing musicians of all ages. As a Band and Orchestra Sales Specialist, you’ll build meaningful relationships within the musical community—helping students, educators, and musicians find the right instruments and accessories to support their musical journey.

This role combines music knowledge, customer service, and sales, with opportunities to engage in community events and school partnerships.

Your Impact

• Help students and musicians choose instruments they’ll grow with
• Share product knowledge through demonstrations and conversations
• Build trusted relationships with teachers, families, and performers
• Contribute to store sales goals through thoughtful, service-driven selling
• Participate in school and community music events
• Represent Heid Music with professionalism and a customer-focused approach

Schedule & Compensation

• Includes some evenings, Saturdays, and occasional community events
• Hourly pay + commission + bonus opportunities

Training & Development

• Hands-on training with instruments and product lines
• Manufacturer-led education and product knowledge opportunities
• Ongoing coaching and support from experienced music retail professionals

Qualifications

• Band or orchestra instrument knowledge (playing, teaching, or hands-on experience)
• Passion for music and helping others succeed
• Customer service, retail, or sales experience is helpful but not required
• Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others succeed musically

A degree is welcome but not necessary if you bring strong musical knowledge.
