About This Position
Position Description:
Position Summary
To screen and efficiently schedule donation collections, manage donation records, provide accurate reporting, and ensure that every caller and donor receives prompt, professional, courteous service and a solution. This role also supports donation operations through assistance with truck routes, and collaboration with volunteers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Decision-Making:
Makes decisions regarding donation acceptance and pick-up scheduling following established policies and procedures.
Administrative:
Answer phones promptly and in a courteous manner. Check and promptly return voicemail from the donation hotline and donation emails.
Ensure accurate data entry and reporting; maintain the integrity of the donor database and related paperwork.
Prepare and distribute monthly donation reports.
Assist ReStore staff with various office functions and other duties, as requested.
Technical:
Thoroughly screen donation offers ensuring adherence to the ReStores donation acceptance guidelines.
Ensure that donation pickups are scheduled promptly and efficiently, making effective use of Habitats volunteer and other resources.
Maintain continual communication with Donation Ambassadors throughout the pick-up process.
Complete donation collection reminder calls daily.
Obtain and maintain truck certification; support truck routes as needed.
Internal Representation:
Develop strong, positive, and lasting relationships with staff and volunteers throughout the organization.
Actively participate in supporting volunteers on truck routes and donation operations when needed.
External Representation:
Communicate with donors, primarily on program-specific duties.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills:
Superior time management and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work in a dynamic team, as well as carry out tasks independently.
Ability to establish effective internal and external working relationships.
Ability to identify and establish priorities, work independently, and exercise sound judgment related to providing support and assistance.
Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, effective and courteous, require high integrity when dealing with a broad array of backgrounds.
Desire and ability to work alongside and support volunteers in operational tasks.
