RFS Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate, licensed Full-Time Therapist to provide behavioral-health services to children and families in the Defiance community.

This role is ideal for a clinician who wants to build meaningful relationships, help young people overcome emotional and behavioral challenges, and work collaboratively with families, educators, and behavioral-health professionals.

COMPENSATION

Annual salary: $60,000–$65,000, based on licensure and experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide individual, family, and group therapeutic services
• Complete clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-informed interventions based on each client’s needs
• Help clients strengthen coping skills and achieve measurable treatment goals
• Collaborate with families, school personnel, supervisors, and community partners
• Participate in treatment-team meetings and care coordination
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Complete documentation within required agency timeframes
• Maintain professional, ethical, and regulatory standards

QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Ohio LSW, LPC, or higher behavioral-health licensure
• Experience working with children, adolescents, or families preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
• Excellent organization and time-management skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings, including a background check and drug screen
