TEST CONTROL TECH B - (4 POSITIONS) INTERNAL BARGAINING UNIT MEMBERS ONLY - PROGRAM SUPPORT LTAMDS in White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico at Southwest Range Services

Applies general knowledge of weapon’s system operating procedures and testing requirements and reference to written manuals and procedures to assure proper setup and operation of equipment for test purposes. Work may be checked by supervisor or higher graded technician to assure compliance with written procedures, test plans and/or accepted practices. May be assigned other duties within his or her capabilities.

Work may include cross training and certification for other jobs on the contract and associated cross utilization into other jobs as required. Test schedules may require some overtime and/or weekend work.

Minimum qualification requirements include demonstration of satisfactory skill and good performance in the particular field with two years of progressive experience in the specific field in addition to graduation from a two-year resident course at a technical institute, or five years of progressive experience in the specific field. Military training and experience in applicable specialties will be evaluated and may be allowed as qualifying. Must posses a valid driver’s license. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver around weapons systems and be able to work in exterior unprotected environments.
