Signage Estimator at New Tech Global Staffing – Houston, Texas

NTG Staffing is currently seeking a Signage Estimator for a client located in Houston, TX (77086). This is a direct hire, full-time, onsite opportunity within a manufacturing facility.

Pay: $80,000 - $110,000 (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week
Location: Houston, TX 77086 (onsite)

The Signage Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for custom signage projects, including large pylons, channel letters, monuments, neon, and electronic signs. This role plays a key part in supporting pricing strategies that drive profitability and align with project goals.

• Analyze architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to develop accurate project estimates
• Identify labor, materials, equipment, and installation time requirements
• Prepare detailed bids and proposals aligned with design intent, budget, and timelines
• Collaborate with sales and project management teams to ensure pricing supports profitability
• Track and analyze pricing data, market trends, and material/labor costs
• Identify value engineering opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality
• Conduct post-project profitability reviews to improve future estimates
• Participate in internal bid review meetings to present and refine pricing strategies

• Required: High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of experience in custom signage estimating (including complex signage projects)
• Preferred: Strong understanding of signage fabrication processes, timelines, and cost-analysis methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and project specs accurately
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with signage materials, fabrication, and installation logistics

• Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for computer work
• Occasional travel (up to 15%) for site walks
