Join the exciting Parks & Recreation Department team this summer!
Duties:
Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years of age.
Physical Requirements:Must be of sufficient physical helath to attain lifeguarding certification; must be able to pass water skills test; must be able to see distressed swimmers and physically remove them from the water.
MISC. INFORMATIONThe Hourly Pay Rate: $17.85
The position includes putting buoys out, opening and closing of facility, lifeguarding duties, enforce rules and regulations, greet customers and answer questions, meeting with supervisors and reporting issues with staff, equipment and facility, collection and daily consolidation of fees.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year lifeguard experience.
Current certifications required: CPR/FPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certification with Waterfront Module.
Must be reliable, friendly, responsible, and customer service oriented.
Benefits:
There are no benefits and no holiday pay for July 4, 2025 for this temporary position.
