About This Position

Frontier Supply Chain Solutions Inc. (Frontier) is a medium sized provider of US and Canadian Customs Services, Trade Consulting, Supply Chain Logistics, including parcel and courier delivery. We are seeking an experienced and motivated logistics professional to join our Logistics team.

As a Cross Border Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our shipping operations. In this fast-paced position, you’ll be responsible for overseeing shipments, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining smooth coordination across various teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in the transportation industry, demonstrating strong critical thinking skills, excellent organizational abilities with a customer-focused, adaptable and team-oriented attitude. As a Cross Border Coordinator, You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Managing customer shipments, including scheduling pickups and tracking shipments from the U.S. to
  • the company’s U.S. warehouse.
  • Preparing and reviewing Bills of Lading (BOLs) and ensuring accuracy.
  • Attaching PARS stickers to BOLs for smooth customs clearance.
  • Coordinating with customs brokers to resolve any customs-related issues and ensuring compliance with
  • regulations.
  • Providing clear and precise instructions to warehouse teams in the U.S., Saskatoon, Toronto, and
  • Winnipeg for freight handling and processing.
  • Scheduling shipment pickups via courier websites and monitor the status of active shipments.
  • Tracking inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely receipt and dispatch.
  • Communicating with carriers to resolve delays and track shipments.
  • Monitoring and resolving delivery issues with domestic shipments.
  • Collaborating with the business development team on customer concerns and account setup.
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives and resolving internal and external issues.

Skills You Will Bring:

  • Strong computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn in-house software programs.
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accountable and dependable, with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and modify formulas and spreadsheets.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Outlook and Word for effective communication and reporting.
  • Willing to engage in logistics projects and conduct Excel analyses as needed.
  • Committed to personal development and continuous learning.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience as a logistics or Cross Border Coordinator role is considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary education with a focus on supply chain logistics is an asset.
