Here’s what you need to know about this position:

THE WORK

This hybrid role requires 2 days of on-site collaboration at our offices in WeWork Insurgentes Sur

Build and maintain scalable Ruby on Rails applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features

Work closely with the Product team to define upcoming features and troubleshoot problems

Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code to improve the codebase

Take Rails apps from idea to production and ensure high-quality performance

Contribute to the architecture and design decisions while optimizing systems

Collaborate remotely using GitHub, Slack, Notion, and Zoom

NEEDED EXPERTISE

4+ years of engineering experience, including hands-on Ruby on Rails expertise

Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically React.js or Ember.js

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams

A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

Experience designing and implementing large, scalable web applications

Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and clean coding practices

Familiarity with managing environments using Docker, MySQL, Postgres, Redis, NGINX, and AWS

If you have some experience with Linux, managing infrastructure with tools like Terraform or Ansible, and an understanding of compliance standards like PCI and HIPAA, that's definitely a nice-to-have
