Job Description

We train our Patient Service Technicians to be the best in the industry. They are responsible for delivering and installing durable medical equipment (DME) for hospice care while demonstrating compassion and understanding.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • “Being a Blessing” to patients, families, and co-workers.
  • Closely communicate and coordinate with dispatch and Customer Service.
  • Represent Horizon Oxygen in a professional and courteous manner at all times. Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Load and unload vehicles.
  • Deliver, pick-up, set- up, and educate patients on proper use of DME (includes oxygen, wheelchairs, and hospital beds).
  • Utilize company software for orders.
  • Assist with cleaning equipment, as needed.
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment
  • Maintain a clean vehicle and complete appropriate maintenance/safety records.
  • Maintain DME delivery and/or pickup records
  • Assume on-call responsibilities in accordance with company policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have 5 years of driving experience.
  • Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record.
  • Physically able to lift and move medical equipment up to 60 lbs.
  • Flexibility of schedule (including overtime and weekends).
  • Availability for "on-call" duty.
  • Experience in field is a plus!
  • We maintain a drug free workplace.
