About This Position

Overview

Program Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Researches and evaluates program regulations, data sources, and operational outcomes related to the Oregon Donor Registry and CLA’s outreach initiatives.
  • Analyzes data from DMV, high schools, and outreach activities to identify trends, compliance issues, and opportunities.
  • Prepares comprehensive reports and recommendations for executive staff and leadership to inform decision-making.
  • Drafts or revises policies and procedures to ensure alignment with regulations, statutes, and strategic goals.

Program Coordination & Development

  • Provides functional program direction and coordination for Community Relations initiatives.
  • Assists in establishing long-range objectives, operational goals, and operating plans for donor registry and outreach programs.
  • Develops internal workflows, procedures, and communication tools (e.g., newsletters, webpages, presentations, training guides) to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Supports expansion of outreach programs with a focus on underrepresented communities.

Partner & Agency Representation

  • Serves as the primary liaison with key donation partners (DMV, BOE, VisionGift, Solvita, LifeLogics, and others).
  • Represents CLA in partner meetings, educational presentations, taskforces, and community events.
  • Designs, develops, and delivers public education and training sessions to diverse audiences, including schools, legislative groups, and faith-based organizations.
  • Provides interpretation of program rules and policies to external stakeholders

Policy, Compliance & Process Oversight

  • Collaborates with CLA’s regulatory and compliance teams to ensure adherence to laws, policies, and data privacy requirements.
  • Supports external partners in meeting program and regulatory standards, especially regarding donor registry data and high school education initiatives.
  • Reviews program operations for compliance and recommends corrective action as needed

Responsibilities

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a field directly related to the position will substitute for two years of the required experience.
  • Five years of experience with responsibility for program or project monitoring and coordination. The experience must have included program evaluation responsibility.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating educational curriculum in alignment with applicable regulatory standards, accreditation guidelines, and best practices.
  • Experience working in an organ procurement organization.

    • Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to create and present targeted media to both small and large groups in various settings including social media, high school classes, and multicultural community events.
    • Proficiency in social media tools, database software, Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite
    • An ability to work productively both independently and as a team participant with accountability to all other team members.
    • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
    Qualifications

    • Experience in gathering, analyzing, and goal setting based on relevant data in an organ procurement organization setting.
    • Background in developing policies, procedures, and training for compliance-driven programs.
