The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, number of months worked, as well as internal equity among our team.

Job Summary:

• Provides personal, academic, and career support to a caseload of 35 students.

• Recruit UB-eligible participants/conducts student intakes.

• Assesses students’ ongoing needs.

• Implements new UB activities,

• Coordinates Career Work-Study positions, including building relationships with area businesses and creating a curriculum focused on job skills and workforce development.

• Maintains current files on each student, monitors academic progress, and compiles contact reports.

• Arranges and oversees campus visits.Arranges and oversees campus visits.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related area.

• 2+ years of experience in teaching or counseling with UB-eligible youth (grades 9-12).

• Awareness/sensitivity to UB-eligible student needs and confidentiality issues.

• Effective written, oral, computer, and human relations skills.
