Responsibilities

• Under general direction of Dietary Chef, provides for the dietary and nutritional needs of patients, guests and staff
• Prepares, cooks and serves food according to hospital standards and nutritional guidelines
• Follows hospital recipes
• Adheres to all hospital and state sanitation and food handling codes

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Food Handlers Permit
• Experience with food preparation and following recipes
• Ability to remain flexible and calm in a demanding environment
• Exhibit a high level of attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal capabilities
