Job Description


Driver/Exterior Technician

Exterior Landscaping

Primary Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Request plant replacements
  • Install and maintain high-end properties
  • Ensure all accounts meet our high-level standards of upkeep and aesthetic appeal
  • Drive the crew from the warehouse to the job site and back each day
  • Working knowledge of application, prevention & control of fertilizers, weeds, diseases & pests
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Deadhead annual blooms
  • Prune and trim hedges using tools such as shovels, rakes, shears, or chain saws
  • Care for established lawns by mowing, weeding, aerating, trimming, and edging
  • Ensure plant containers are clean and in good condition
  • Working knowledge of irrigation systems a plus but not required
  • Water lawns, trees, plants, and blooms with hoses, watering cans, or sprinkler systems
  • Ensure all areas are litter free
  • Ensure pedestrian safety when working at account sites
  • Complete & turn in necessary paperwork on time and correctly

    • Education/Experience:

  • High school graduate or equivalent; college degree or coursework preferred
  • Must be able to display reasonable reading comprehension and writing ability
  • Experience in a customer focused environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of horticulture
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to speak fluent English; Spanish a plus
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. DOT card preferred (CDL NOT required)
  • Able to drive box trucks, vans, and pull trailers
  • Ability to pass any background checks as required by state or local laws or per customer
