MULTI CARE TECHNICIAN - FREE STANDING EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT at East Alabama Medical Center – AUBURN, Alabama

Under the supervision of a registered nurse and other members of the emergency department team, the multi-care tech (MCT) performs specialized patient care functions for their assigned patients. The MCT will observe and maintain the ED environment, including but not limited to; safe, therapeutic, compassionate, and cost-effective care. The MCT has assigned duties that they will follow and assist in the improvement of patient satisfaction. The MCT will assist in keeping the department clean and functioning effectively. The FED MCT will also be responsible for answering inquiries of a general nature through utilization of phone, patient call systems, message relaying, and promotion of good working relationships with other hospital personnel and any outside agency that may be contacted. The FED MCT will demonstrate efficiency and accuracy in communication and documentation.
