As an Armorer 1, you will be responsible for the functions outlined below. This entry-level position focuses on assembling and inspecting firearms to Daniel Defense’s rigorous quality standards. Armorer 1 is also the foundation for advancement into the Range Lead track.

Essential Functions:

• Play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards and operational integrity of our firearms production.
• Conduct thorough inspections of upper and lower receivers for any manufacturing or cosmetic defects.
• Perform Assembly Quality checks strictly following Daniel Defense standards.
• Assemble DD-specific firearms in accordance with Daniel Defense standards.
• Read, comprehend, and complete work orders and instructions. Adhere to all applicable operator work instructions, SOPs, and quality and safety procedures.
• Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.
• Participates in the company’s efforts to continuously improve in Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
• Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment
• Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• High school diploma or GED required; 2–3 years of firearms experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a level of manual dexterity to perform all job functions.
• Ability to perform as part of a team and to cooperate and work proactively with others.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new job requirements.
• Great attention to detail and excellent recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work under deadlines and pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to recognize and workin accordance withour Company Values.
• It is understood employees may be assigned to other departments, functional groups, and/or shifts asdeemednecessary by management.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Requires intermittent standing, walking,sittingand bending throughout thework day.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
• Must be able to wearappropriate PersonalProtection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
