This role is a key driver in attracting, assessing, and onboarding nursing talent for residency programs. You will partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure positions are filled efficiently with highly qualified candidates. The role involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to interviews and offers, while maintaining strong relationships with candidates and internal teams. You will leverage applicant tracking systems, behavioral assessments, and AI tools to identify the best talent and enhance the quality of hires. - Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs based on attrition, program expansion, and retirement planning
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top nursing talent for residency programs
- Screen and assess candidates using resumes, credentials, behavioral interviews, and assessment tools to ensure quality hires
- Extend job offers, negotiate incentives, and manage counter offers, relocation, and sign-on agreements
- Maintain accurate candidate records in applicant tracking systems and recruiting CRMs
- Provide guidance on benefits, corporate policies, and applicant inquiries
- Partner with internal teams to support successful onboarding and integration of new nursing residents
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience (minimum 4 years)
- Minimum 1 year of recruiting or human resources experience; healthcare or RPO experience preferred
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, recruiting CRMs, Microsoft Office Suite, and AI recruitment tools
- Knowledge of behavioral interviewing techniques and assessment methods
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Talent acquisition or HR certifications preferred (e.g., HCI, NAHCR, RACR, PHR, SHRM-CP)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and build collaborative relationships with hiring teams
- Competitive salary range: $47,708 – $88,730
