About This Position

Are you energized by people and motivated by connection? Do you naturally influence, encourage, and put others at ease—especially in moments that matter most? At Moorehead Dentistry, we’re seeking a dental hygienist who thrives in a highly interactive, relationship-driven role and brings a confident, optimistic presence to both patients and teammates.

About the position

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building trust, guiding conversations, and positively influencing patient decisions through a persuasive, caring, and engaging communication style. You’ll play a key role in setting the emotional tone of the clinical environment—bringing warmth, encouragement, and calm to a structured, predictable workflow. Our hygienists are not just clinicians; they are ambassadors of confidence and reassurance for patients who may be anxious or hesitant about dental care.

Success in this role comes from loving routine and consistency while staying upbeat and socially engaged throughout the day. You’ll work within clearly defined systems and processes that allow you to focus on people rather than problem-solving constant change. You can enjoy structured, yet flexible appointment flows, clear expectations for success —with up-to-date resources such as digital X-rays, Cavitron technology, and outsourced instrument sharpening— empowering you to focus on relationship-building and patient care.

The environment is methodical, efficient, and steady—requiring patience, attention to detail, and mental stamina across full days of patient interaction. If you draw energy from others, value stability, and excel at creating positive experiences through connection and influence, you’ll feel right at home here.
