Laboratory Assistant at Med Center Health – Glasgow, Kentucky

With direct supervision and training, performs simple and routine laboratory procedures and tests. Collects, processes and relays specimens. Serves as receptionist and performs laboratory-related clerical duties associated with the requisitioning and reporting system of the Medical Center’s Laboratory department.

Minimum Qualifications

• Vocational training specific for laboratory required. Training must include at least 6 hours of vital signs, 6 hours of injections (IM, Subdermal, Intradermal), and 6 hours of venipuncture.
