This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and hands-on e-commerce leader to take ownership of a growing direct-to-consumer digital commerce operation. In this role, you will lead the evolution of the Shopify ecosystem, optimizing every aspect of the customer journey from merchandising and conversion to analytics and operational efficiency. Working closely with leadership, you will help define and execute the long-term e-commerce roadmap while building scalable systems and processes that support sustainable growth. This fully remote opportunity offers significant autonomy, visibility, and the chance to shape the future of a rapidly evolving online business.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and optimize the end-to-end Shopify experience, including storefront performance, backend operations, and customer journey enhancements.
  • Conduct audits of the existing e-commerce ecosystem and develop actionable 30/60/90-day improvement plans.
  • Drive conversion rate optimization initiatives through funnel analysis, experimentation, and performance testing.
  • Enhance on-site merchandising strategies, including product pages, collections, navigation, promotions, and search functionality.
  • Build and maintain clear analytics dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and manage promotional calendars aligned with revenue goals and brand positioning.
  • Improve catalog management and inventory accuracy through optimized product data and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, developers, copywriters, content creators, and external partners to execute initiatives effectively.
  • Source, manage, and oversee agencies and freelancers while establishing scalable e-commerce processes and workflows.
  • Define, monitor, and report on KPIs related to revenue growth, conversion, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management with direct ownership of online store performance and revenue growth.
  • Strong expertise with Shopify, including platform administration, integrations, catalog management, and app ecosystem oversight.
  • Proven success improving conversion rates through CRO, merchandising optimization, and checkout/funnel enhancements.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience building reports, interpreting customer behavior, and prioritizing high-impact initiatives.
  • Experience working collaboratively with both creative and technical teams across multiple disciplines.
  • Ability to operate effectively in lean, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Availability to work overlapping hours with North American time zones; candidates based in Canada are strongly preferred.
  • Experience in fashion, apparel, DTC, or consumer products industries is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with CRM/email marketing strategies, paid media scaling, or AI-powered e-commerce tools is a plus.
Benefits:
  • Competitive full-time compensation package.
  • Fully remote work environment with flexible location options.
  • Opportunity to build and scale a high-impact e-commerce function from the ground up.
  • Access to a large global perks and discounts marketplace.
  • Early wage access options with the ability to withdraw approved earnings before payday.
  • Collaborative and entrepreneurial work culture focused on innovation and growth.
  • Exposure to modern e-commerce technologies, optimization strategies, and digital commerce best practices.
  • High level of ownership, autonomy, and strategic influence within the organization.
