Supports the clinical team by preparing patients for treatment, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow in the operatory. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are ready for procedures

Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of treatments (restorative, surgical, hygiene support, etc.)

Take dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with state regulations

Sterilize and maintain instruments according to infection control protocols (CDC/OSHA standards)

Record and update patient medical histories and charting in the practice management system

Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans

Manage patient flow to ensure efficiency and minimize wait times

Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering as needed

Ensure compliance with all safety, sterilization, and HIPAA regulations
