Job Summary: The K-8 Summer Assistant provides classroom support in the K-8 summer camp program. The Assistant is responsible for the supervision of children during summer camp trips. Supports student learning and engagement in academic and life skills enrichment in a state-of-the-art, high-quality school aged childcare center. This position is only funded for the summer. This position has the option to transfer into a school year Assistant position. |

What Qualifications or Experience You May Bring:
Physical Requirements: Active work involved in the care of children. This includes walking, climbing stairs, kneeling, and driving (if applicable). Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must be able to walk short distances (1 mile or less). |
