  • Continuously refine product direction based on data, feedback, and field insights

B. End-to-End Product Execution

  • Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery and design to deployment and iteration

  • Work closely with engineering and AI teams to build high-quality learning solutions

  • Drive structured execution through sprint planning, backlog management, and releases

  • Ensure usability, teacher adoption, and real-world effectiveness

C. AI Solution Deployment and Integration

  • Anchor deployment of AI tools within classrooms and public education systems

  • Adapt solutions to local contexts including infrastructure, pedagogy, and policy

  • Ensure integration with existing education platforms and assessment systems

  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in implementation and adoption

D. Stakeholder Engagement and Adoption

  • Engage with government officials, educators, and program stakeholders

  • Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical users

  • Build strong relationships to drive adoption and sustained usage

  • Incorporate classroom and field feedback into product improvements

E. Partnerships and Ecosystem Development

  • Build relationships with governments, multilaterals, foundations, and EdTech partners

  • Support development of strategic partnerships to enable program scale

  • Contribute to WAIG’s presence in priority education markets

  • Convert early engagement into structured, long-term opportunities

F. Grants and Program Development

  • Support development of proposals, concept notes, and funding applications

  • Translate product ideas into compelling, fundable program narratives

  • Align solutions with donor priorities and system-level needs

  • Ensure proposals are grounded in execution feasibility

G. Portfolio Shaping and Expansion

  • Identify the right mix of pilots, products, and scaled programs

  • Balance innovation with scalability and long-term sustainability

  • Support decisions on where to invest, expand, or refine efforts

  • Contribute to building a coherent education portfolio

H. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with educators, product teams, engineers, and data scientists

  • Act as the bridge between pedagogy, technology, and field execution

  • Ensure product decisions reflect both learning science and operational realities

  • Drive alignment across teams working toward shared outcomes

What You Will Own

You will lead the design and scale-up of AI-driven education initiatives across the Global South, owning outcomes from early problem definition through to system-level deployment. This includes product strategy, solution design, execution quality, and stakeholder alignment across governments and partners.

Success in this role means building AI-powered education solutions that are widely adopted, pedagogically effective, operationally sustainable, and capable of delivering measurable improvements in foundational learning outcomes.

What We Are Looking For

  • 7–10 years of experience in product management, EdTech, digital learning, or technology-driven education programs

  • Strong understanding of foundational literacy, early-grade learning, and public education systems

  • Experience building or scaling digital/AI-enabled education solutions

  • Ability to work across cross-functional teams including engineering and data science, while effectively engaging with external stakeholders such as governments, donors, and institutions

  • Experience or exposure to partnerships, business development, or grant writing, with the ability to translate opportunities into structured, fundable programs

  • Strong problem-solving and structured thinking, with the ability to operate in ambiguous and evolving environments

  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 40%) and work closely with on-ground teams across project countries in Africa or Southeast Asia, based on program needs
