SAFEWAZE – PRODUCTION ASSEMBLY ASSOCIATE

We are seeking a production assembly associate to join our production team that is responsible for overall appearance and assembly to produce fall protection equipment, while maintaining a high level of quality standards based on product specifications and achieving production goals.

  • Full time, first shift work. Monday-Thursday 7am-3:30pm, Friday 6am-2:30pm

WHAT THE ROLE DOES:

  • Read and comprehend workmanship standards, verbal instructions.
  • Assemble components and products according to standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect products for quality and report defects or discrepancies
  • Work with other members of the production team to assemble or sew products using an automatic sewing machine.
  • Assist in packaging and labeling when needed.
  • Document production activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Able to use reason to solve problems as they arise and follow all safety guidelines.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, twist and walk through the production area throughout the work shift.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented.
  • Familiarity with basic model shop tools, sewing machines and procedures along with manufacturing processes
