Would you like a fun, flexible and impactful role with plenty of career opportunities? Do you have a passion for making a real difference in young people’s lives? Teach children skills that last a lifetime at State Swim. We’re looking for enthusiastic Swim Teachers to deliver effective, engaging, and enjoyable swimming lessons with a team that’s focused on safety and fun!

New to swim teaching and not sure where to start?

No worries! You don’t need to be an elite swimmer, either. What matters is that you have a passion for working with and teaching children the life-saving skill of learning to swim.

Training made easy – here’s how it works.

• We’ll support you to complete your teaching qualification.

• You’ll get hands-on experience during your 20 shadow hours with one of our friendly qualified Swim Teachers.

• And we’ll teach you the proven State Swim method so that you can begin your Swim Teaching career with confidence!

Availability requirements:

You’ll be flexible to work mornings and afternoons during the week, and weekend mornings.
Core availability requirements are afternoons 3:30 – 6:00pm.
Mornings and offer school INTERM (usually midday) for selected schools.
Weekends also 8:00am – 12:30pm.
