Surety Client Associate I at Houchens Insurance Group INC. – Franklin, Tennessee

60% Client Services

• Provides daily support to Client Advisors and Bond accounts.
• Assisting Client Advisors with requests and executing bonds
• Maintaining bond lists and expiration information
• Maintaining and update financial and underwriting information
• Maintaining control on bid bonds
• Processing renewals and cancellation requests.
• Aiding in monitoring the account receivables and collections
• Learning all Bond service standards and procedures.

20% File Management

• Documenting all correspondence, follow up for necessary financial updates at appropriate times,
• and keep the client files organized and up to date.
• Assisting Client Advisor in maintenance of bond files

10% Teamwork

• Works together with team and with other departments; this includes conferencing with Producers
• and Client Advisors to discuss the execution of strategies. Manages PTO to work with
• departmental needs. Volunteers to back up and/or assist others as needed.

10% Determination

• Displays commitment and initiative to meet department and agency education goals as set forth in the organization’s education program.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications

Must be able to obtain insurance licenses and designations as set forth by the organization's education plans.
