Certified Nurse Assistant at Citizens Memorial – Stockton, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital Foundation (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide exceptional care for our residents at Lake Stockton Long Term Care Facility. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the area: Stockton, Missouri is home to Stockton State Park, which offers a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, fishing, boating, and swimming. Stockton Lake is located a few minutes from our facility and is a popular destination for boating, water sports, and camping!

About the department: Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility is a 90-bed long term skilled nursing facility. A 30-bed memory care unit meets the specific needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

A typical day includes: A typical day will include knowing and applying current nursing theory, principles of treatment, and nursing procedures in the care of residents.

• Prepares, administers, and documents medications by all routes except those by parenteral routes.
• Utilizes references materials associated with medication administration to identify side effects, interactions, and nursing implications of medications in use in the facility.
• Identifies medication errors, completes event reports, and reports to charge nurse for follow- up action.

Job Requirements:

• Education: HS diploma
• Experience: Must currently be Certified Nurse Assistant AND Certified/ Registered Medication Technician.
• Skills: Good Communication Skills, Patience, Attention to detail, Flexibility, Intrapersonal Skills
• Licensure/Certification: CNA and CMT/RMT
• Physical: ability to work at a fast pace with about 90% of the day consists of walking.

The options for shift and schedule can include:

• Full Time, Part Time and PRN (Per Requested Need).
• Nights, Evenings, Days or Rotating.
