Corporate Director of Revenue Management Job Description
Charleston, SC – The Corporate Director of Revenue Management is a senior-level position responsible for maximizing room revenue through the development and implementation of effective inventory management and pricing strategies for multiple hotel properties. The property portfolio for this position will include complex and high-profile accounts. This individual will develop and implement innovative strategies to maximize room revenue, improve market share, and optimize the overall market mix. This position requires a highly analytical mindset, leadership skills, and proven experience in revenue management, with a minimum of 5 years in the field. This position is based in the Charlestowne Hotels corporate office in Charleston, SC.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Develop and execute advanced RevPAR and market share growth strategies by analyzing historical data, forecasting demand, and evaluating market conditions.
- Oversee revenue strategy for a portfolio of properties, ensuring tailored approaches are implemented for each hotel's unique market and positioning.
- Lead and participate in revenue strategy meetings, collaborating with General Managers and other key stakeholders to align on short- and long-term goals.
- Participate in and present to ownership during monthly or annual budget presentations, providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
- Generate, review, and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly revenue management reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage and optimize all distribution channels to maintain rate parity, pricing integrity, and maximize online and offline performance.
- Monitor competitive sets, market conditions, and industry trends to maintain competitive positioning across the portfolio.
- Collaborate with marketing and e-commerce teams on promotional campaigns, packages, and website content to drive incremental revenue.
- Maintain and utilize data from all market segments to inform strategic decision-making and optimize property performance.
DESIRED SKILLS + EXPERIENCE:
- Four year degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 5 years of revenue management experience, with demonstrated success managing complex and diverse hotel portfolios.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in revenue management systems, distribution platforms, and Microsoft Excel, with advanced data analysis capabilities.
- Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on results and innovation.
