As the Director of Wellness, you’ll have the opportunity to shape a dynamic and holistic wellness program that supports residents across all levels of care—from Independent Living to Healthcare, Assisted Living, and Memory Support.
This leadership role allows you to oversee a wide range of initiatives including wellness programming, aquatic and fitness services, spa offerings, and community events. You’ll collaborate closely with executive leadership, marketing, and operational teams to deliver innovative programming that supports resident engagement, wellbeing, and satisfaction.

What You’ll Do
Lead Wellness Operations: Provide day-to-day management, supervision, and direction of wellness and events programming across Providence Point and Baptist Manor.
Develop Holistic Wellness Programming: Create and oversee initiatives that promote the physical, social, intellectual, spiritual, and emotional wellbeing of residents throughout all levels of care.
Oversee Facilities & Services: Coordinate operations under the wellness umbrella including the Wellness Center, Aquatic Center, Spa Services, and community events for residents and staff.
Collaborate Across Departments: Partner with Marketing and Sales to highlight wellness programming as part of the resident experience and support prospective resident engagement.
Build and Lead the Team: Recruit, develop, and mentor wellness and events staff, fostering a high-performing team that reflects the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Senior Family.
Ensure Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements related to wellness programming, aquatic and spa operations, and staff certifications while ensuring safe operation of wellness facilities.
Manage Budgets & Strategic Planning: Prepare operational and capital budgets, monitor financial performance, and provide timely variance reports and summaries to executive leadership.
Measure Impact & Drive Innovation: Track participation, satisfaction, and program outcomes using engagement platforms and data tools to evaluate effectiveness, support continuous improvement, and embrace innovative wellness technologies and partnerships.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time 7:00am - 3:00pm—perfect for balancing your leadership career with meaningful community engagement.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) with degree in Exercise Physiology or related field with minimum of 2 years' experience working with senior population
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing wellness, recreation, hospitality, or events programs.
- Strong organizational and operational management skills.
- Ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive strategic initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Experience using data, participation metrics, or engagement tools to measure program success and outcomes.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology or related field with four years' experience working in senior living environment.
- Experience working in senior living, hospitality, healthcare, or community wellness environments.
- Familiarity with aquatic or fitness center operations and safety protocols.
- Experience with engagement platforms, wellness technology, or resident participation tracking tools.
